Eugene Shadko
Eugene Shadko
Eugene Shadko is a contemporary Belarusian artist, born in 1987 in Barysaw, Belarus. He began his art education in 2003 at the Glebov Art School in Minsk, and later continued his studies at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, Poland.
Currently, Eugene lives and works in Warsaw, Poland. His artistic practice explores the human condition, often focusing on faces and body fragments rendered in expressive, sometimes melancholic compositions. His paintings are known for their layered textures, vibrant colors, and tactile brushwork, inviting personal interpretation from the viewer.
Eugene has been a long-time collaborator with DK Gallery and has participated in the international contemporary art fair ArtVilnius multiple times, representing Belarusian artists.
